Greatland Consulting is dedicated to getting to know all our students individually, understanding their personalities, interests, learning preferences, strengths, weaknesses. To guarantee the quality of our services, we work with a small number of students every year.
As I began raising my family, my interests gradually shifted toward education consulting. While living in Singapore, I spent six years helping immigrant families navigate the K–12 school system, which led me to discover a deep passion for working with students. I now guide high school students through the college planning and application process, supporting them in uncovering their strengths, building confidence, and telling their stories with clarity and authenticity.
I’m a graduate of the University of California, Irvine’s Independent Educational Consultant Certificate Program, an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), and a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA). I’m also a Wow Writing Workshop Certified Essay Coach.
I stay closely connected to the evolving world of college admissions through regular workshops, conferences, and visits to about 15 colleges each year, ensuring families receive the most thoughtful and up-to-date guidance.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English from Sun Yat-sen University, China and an Master of Science in Management from Lancaster Universityin, UK. I spent nine years in the field of audit and risk management in Ernst & Young and Deloitte, amongst other companies; where I developed a strong foundation in research, analysis, and attention to detail.
